Please take note that the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series originally scheduled for Nelson Ledges on July 25/26 has been moved up to the June 13/14 weekend. This change also impacts Round #5 of the Bridgestone/WERA National Endurance Series/Michelin National Challenge and North Central Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series event originally scheduled for Bluegrass Motorsports Park in Kentucky. This new facility will not be up and running by the June 13/14 weekend and the event has been canceled. WERA is looking at trying to re-schedule the Pirelli/WERA North Central Sportsman event at Bluegrass for later in the season…stay tuned….. that news will be released as soon as we have it.
WERA Motorcycle Roadracing is proud to announce that they will assist AMA Racing with the administration of the road-racing portion of the AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championship, scheduled for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days July 24-26 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, the proceeds of which support the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, has been a very special event for the AMA, and WERA Motorcycle Roadracing is pleased to support this one-of-a-kind event. We’re also happy to announce that WERA vintage racers will be awarded points for this event in comparable classes. A class list, supplemental rules and registration information for the AMA Racing Vintage Grand Championships are available at AMARacing.com and AmericanMororcyclist.com. Please note that all registration for this event needs to be done with AMA Racing.
