Toseland’s Band to Perform at Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix
Cypress, California, June 9th, 2009…Yamaha Motor Corporation and it financial services partner GE Commercial Finance, are proud to once again bring MotoGP fans exciting rock and roll entertainment for Saturday evening, July 4th following the scheduled afternoon MotoGP qualifying session at this year’s Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
This year’s entertainment will see Monster Tech 3 Yamaha’s Factory rider James Toseland and his band Crash return to the stage located conveniently for all race attendees in the Yamaha Marketplace. In addition to his fantastic Road Racing resume, James is also a classically trained pianist, and he and his band Crash should provide truly memorable entertainment for fans at this year’s Independence Day party.
“This free concert is an integral part of our continuing effort to give back to the fans who support the sport” said Bob Starr, Yamaha’s General Manager of National Communications, “and the fact that James will be “piloting” two extremes of Yamaha products is just fantastic for the Yamaha brand.”
“As a partner of Yamaha Motor Corp. for over 24 years, GE Commercial Finance is proud to be part of this fantastic event,” said Paul Puma of GE Commercial finance. “James is an incredible talent both on and off the track and brings real class to the motorcycle industry.”
