Suzuki GRANDys Team to Start Polish Series
In next weekend (15-17.05.2009) are starting Polish Championships in motorcycles races on Poznań motor-racing track in which Suzuki GRANDys Duo team will participate. After successful tests in the end of April all team have optimistic attitude to inaugural competition and with impatience is waiting for first training. Gwena Giabbani will have the biggest work to do because trough an contusion he don’t participate in trainings and he also don’t know the motor-racing track in Przeźmierów. All team will be trying to do their best for make it easier for him. Guillaume Dietrich in Poznań will be riding on motorcycle in full Superbike specification and he will want to realized the task : win his class. Rest of the team competitors are also ready for inaugural the season and they are waiting for confrontation in their classes. Under the question mark is only start of Mariusz Grandys who have got surgical eye operation.
Jacek Grandys (team manager) :
We are ready and with impatience waiting for first start. Till beginning we put a crossbar very high and our objective is attain all of the titles in all classes. In this weekend we want to make first step in this direction.
Guillaume Dietrich (Superbike):
In Poznań I will finally have the motorcycle in full Superbike specifications and I count that I will make a better times during the trainings. I know that if I want to have a title I must achieved better results but after test I’m sure that I can do this. Everything should be clear after this weekend.
Kenny Foray (Superstock 600):
I’m waiting for first race and battle with Paweł Szkopek. During the test I break the track record for our class but I know that I can be not enough to win. I also know that we can be better and we will be trying to prove it on every training and race. We are coming here to win.
Gwen Giabbani (Superstock 1000):
I’m already packed and only waiting for fly to Poland. I know that It will be a hard weekend because I was injured and couldn’t practice two weeks ago. That’s why in the short time I must learn the track and fight with my rivals. I’m hopeful that everything will goes like it should and our fans will see a great show.
Team will be training from Thursday but official trainings will starts at Friday. Poznań track is in Przeźmierów on Wyścigowa 6 road in the near area of airport Ławica. The easiest way to get there from city center of Poznań is by the Bukowska street (6km) or by the highway A2 road from Nowy Tomyśl.
