Suzuki Champions Tour at IMS Shows
BREA, CA (November 20, 2009) – In 2009, American Suzuki dominated racing by earning six major national championships from Superbike to Motocross to ATV. American Suzuki is proud to announce The Suzuki Champions Tour, a unique display designed to get Suzuki consumers up close and personal with the Championship winning bikes and ATVs at this years International Motorcycle Show. This unique display is a once in-a-lifetime chance for consumers to sit on some of the winning machines for a photo opportunity like no other.
“2009 was a record year for Suzuki racing” said Rod Lopusnak, Suzuki National Sales Manager. “Our racing drives performance and innovation from Superbikes to ATV’s to Motocross. As an enthusiast and rider myself, it’s great to give consumers a taste of what makes us #1!”
Suzuki’s power-packed Champions Tour display will feature the five high-tech machines that produced a record six titles to Suzuki. Consumers can throw a leg over a Mat Mladin race replica 2009 GSX-R1000 like the one that earned his 7th AMA Superbike Title. Fans can straddle Ryan Dungey’s Western Supercross Lites and MX Lites winning RM-Z250 or climb on the first Fuel-injected 450 to win an MX Championship with Chad Reed. Four-wheeled enthusiasts get to sit on top of both Dustin Wimmers AMA ATV Pro MX and Chris Borich’s GNCC ATV title winning QuadRacer R450.
“We build Championship winning technology into each Suzuki ATV and motorcycle. Suzuki products pack a punch. 2010 race season is around the corner. And we plan to come out strong.” emphasized Suzuki’s Senior Communications Manager Steve Bortolamedi.
With 10 remaining IMS shows on the schedule, the next chance for consumers to check out this display will be at the IMS show in San Mateo, CA November 20-22.
