John Hopkins to Return to AMA Competition?
Thanks to a report on Thursday from Cycle News, news is out that former MotoGP and World Superbike racer John Hopkins may return to his roots, perhaps running an M4 Suzuki machine in the AMA Pro American Superbike class.
Roadracing World—which shares an owner with the M4 Suzuki/Team Hammer effort—quotes a source within the team as saying, “John will be testing with us at Auto Club Speedway February 2-3, and we’re working on a deal for him to race the 2010 AMA American Superbike Championship on a Team M4 Suzuki GSX-R1000.”
