hardnoxHardNox Racing is proud to announce today their participation in the 2009 Western Canadian Championship Series (WCC) which will commence in Mission, BC on May 16, 2009. The 3 western Canadian motorcycle clubs; the EMRA, CMRA and WMRC, have put together the Western Canadian Championship Series to build strong racing ties across Western Canada and promote racing between the 3 clubs. Each club (EMRA, WMRC, and CMRA) will host 1 double header weekend.

Races 1 & 2: May 16 & 17 at Mission Raceway Park, Mission, BC

Races 3 & 4: July 11 & 12 at Stratotech Park, Edmonton, AB

Races 5 & 6: September 19 & 20 at Race City, Calgary, AB

The following 7 classes will be run as part of the WCC series:

Thunderclass/Battle of the twins

600 Supersport (Pro and AM)

Heavyweight Supersport (PRO and AM)

Superbike (PRO and AM)

During these double header races all racers participating will accumulate points towards the WCC points Championship.  As with any championship, the racer with most points accumulated over the season will be crowned champion. The accumulation of points during a local double header rounds will count even in the event the racer does not compete in the entire WCC series

HardNox Racing will be entering all 4 riders in all six rounds throughout the year. With the possibility of this being the last racing season in Calgary due to the possible closure of Race City; HardNox has decided to expand their schedule and explore the challenges of these new venues. They are excited to get out and meet and compete against new challengers.
