EICMA 2009 Update
A host of attractive novelties is ready to impress the visitors to the 67th International Motorcycle Show, which is about to open its doors in Milan on Thursday 12 November. Maybe this is the reason why ticket presales have reached figures four times as high as those recorded during the same period last year.
On the website of the show www.eicma.it the list of novelties announced is updated on a daily basis: it should be viewed as a non exhaustive indicative list.
Another extraordinary motif of attraction for fans and the public in general will be Eicma’s special Event, MOTOLIVE, now in its fifth consecutive edition, to take place on the largest area ever set up at a trade fair dedicated to a single industry: an area extending over 80,000 m2, where the MotoLive race track, constructed with over 5,000 m3 of earth and surrounded by 8 bleachers seating 4500 spectators, takes pride of place. There is also a special circuit for speed competitions, and the rich program includes not-to-be-missed rendezvous with the European Supercross and the International Enduro championships, 36 performances by the most renowned stuntmen in the world, Trial and acrobatic Quad performances proposed by the Show Action Group, and the Drag Race, an acceleration challenge, without second chances and without preliminary heats, organised by “Motociclismo”, plus 5 tracks set up for Riding School lessons and Test Rides, courtesy of Kawasaki, Suzuki, and the Ania Foundation. An absolute novelty at this 2009 edition will be the presence of the celebrated” Luca Pedersoli Champions Riding School”, made possible by the support of the Lombardy Region.
