Brammo Hires Hardcard for TTXGP Effort

hardcardMay 13th, 2009 (Pebble Beach, CA) – Brammo, the Ashland, OR-based manufacturer of the Brammo Enertia plug-in electric motorcycle, has hired Hardcard Holdings, LLC to organize its racing effort in the upcoming TTXGP event to be held in conjunction with the world famous Isle of Man TT.  The event is scheduled for June 12th, 2009.   The team will enter a full race-spec version of its production Enertia model.

“We are very pleased to assist Brammo in their racing debut” said Andy Leisner, Managing Partner of Hardcard.  Leisner, a former Grand Prix racer himself commented, “The extent of their effort is impressive and the bike is fantastic.  I’m looking forward to helping the Brammo Team take to the track and make history at the Isle of Man.”

Hardcard is providing assistance on logistics, selection of team personnel and riders, and guidance on contracts, event activation and the protection of Brammo’s commercial and intellectual property rights.

“Entering the TTXGP is an ambitious undertaking for Brammo” said John Farris, Director of Marketing for Brammo.  “Hardcard’s experience in this arena has already provided significant benefit to us, and their ongoing organizational effort allows us to finalize preparations of the race bike to the fullest extent possible.  Together, we make a great team and we’re looking forward to showing the Brammo Enertia in full-race form at this milestone event for electric motorcycles,” said Farris.
