millermotorsportsTOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (June 16, 2009) — Whether you like your racing on two wheels or four, there will be something for everyone this weekend, June 19-21, at Miller Motorsports Park.

If motorcycles light your fire, come check out the Plaza Cycle Masters of the Mountains Series on the East Course. Many of the same riders who competed in the Larry H. Miller Superbike Challenge during the World Superbike weekend will be competing, and the action is guaranteed to be fast and furious.

On the West Course, the Sports Car Club of America’s Utah Region members will be battling it out for regional points and bragging rights in a variety of classes. The event will also serve as the fourth round of the Miller Park Racing Association. Friday will be an open track day for both cars and bikes, with racing taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

If you’d rather drive than watch, the Miller Karting Complex will be open for concession kart rentals and the MMP Off-Road Course will be open for those who want to exercise their off-road vehicles. In addition, on Saturday the SCCA Utah Region will host a Rallycross event in Parking Lot B on the east side of the park adjacent to North Sheep Lane, as well as a Solo II (autocross) event in the Midway (between Parking Lot B and the Clubhouse). The public is invited to participate in their own cars; entry fees are $50 per event or $65 for both.

The Ace Café and Clubhouse will be open for lunch all three days and the Larry H. Miller Total Performance Museum will also be open. On Sunday, bring Dad and treat him to some great racing and even better food at the special Father’s Day Brunch at the Clubhouse. The hours will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., with prices set at $12.95 for adults and $6.50 for children.

Tickets for this weekend are priced at $6 per day for adults, with kids 12 and under free.
