Acknowledging that cars and bikes don’t typically mix well on a racetrack, AMA Pro has been working on a two-wheeled replacement for their so-called safety cars. The pace bike–a modified version of Buell’s Ulysses–is expected too debut at Mid-Ohio, though it was in the pits at Road America.

Dont the pace cars come out when something bad has happened? If it is a bike wont it be just a susectible to issues such as rain, or debris or fluids on the track as the racebikes themselves? How is that safe? Seems to me this is just another DMG prop for Buell. Free advertisement.
