Get your British MotoGP weekend off to the best possible start by joining Riders for Health, the official charity of MotoGP, at Day of Champions 2010. The event has a new home at Silverstone for 2010, and will include everything that made Day of Champions one of the best days out in British motorsport.
Day of Champions 2010 is sure to be better than ever, so make sure you don’t miss out by buying your tickets as soon as they go on sale. Be sure you are kept up to date with all the latest information by following Day of Champions on Twitter at www.twitter.com/dayofchampions.
Day of Champions Entertainment Zone tickets £15
With a ticket to the Day of Champions Entertainment Zone you will be able to enjoy stunt shows, side-car rides, live music, quizzes, prizes and the of the stars of MotoGP live on stage. What more could you ask for?
As always the highlight of the day will be the world famous Day of Champions MotoGP auction. The stars of MotoGP will all be on stage to help raise thousands of pounds to support Riders for Health’s lifesaving work in Africa. Leathers, helmets and signed paintings will all go under the hammer in the amazing show. And this year the organisers of MotoGP have already confirmed some incredible once-in-a-lifetime auction items.
We will be announcing more entertainment in the months ahead so keep checking our website for the latest news.
Access all area tickets
The paddock at Silverstone for the 2010 MotoGP is smaller than in the past, which means we have had to limit the number of tickets to prevent the paddock becoming overcrowded. But to make sure that as many people as possible can get an inside look at MotoGP we have a morning and afternoon ticket available. We have 100 free children tickets for each session. When these have been sold you will need to purchase a standard ticket for all children under-16 wishing to come to the paddock.
Morning Paddock Pass £30
This is your chance to see inside the exciting world of the MotoGP paddock. You will see the paddock as the teams prepare for the race weekend. The final checks will be being made, trucks washed down, engines adjusted and bikes tuned.
Riders for Health can never guarantee that you will meet any riders. Many of the riders will not arrive at the circuit until lunch time, which is why the morning paddock pass tickets are slightly less than the afternoon tickets. And, of course, you will be able to enjoy all the fun in the entertainment zone throughout the day, including seeing all the 125 and Moto2 riders on stage in the afternoon.
Afternoon Paddock Pass £40
These tickets are sure to sell out very quickly so make sure you don’t miss out. This is your chance to see behind the scenes of MotoGP as you will have access to the paddock and pit-lane as the teams gear up to the biggest weekend in British motorsport. Each year fans get the chance to mingle in the paddock, watch teams tune up the bikes in the pit-lane and you may even bump into your favourite rider, although Riders for Health can never guarantee that you will meet any riders.
RIDE-IN TICKETS
Ride-in £60
If you are coming to Silverstone by bike, what better way to arrive at Day of Champions than as part of our famous motorcycle ride-in? This year we will have two meeting points, one north of Silverstone, and one to the south of the circuit. The ride-in will then travel to the Jack’s Hill Cafe on the A5 at Towcester for breakfast before leaving for Silverstone. You will then complete two laps of the famous circuit. You will have the chance to ride the new circuit layout, before even the stars of MotoGP have had a chance to take to the track. And because you will have afternoon paddock pass tickets, you may find that the riders will be asking you for tips. Riders can never guarantee that you will get to meet any of the riders in the MotoGP paddock.
Pillion £45
Arrive at the circuit in style and enjoy all the entertainment throughout the day, as well as seeing behind the scenes of MotoGP with an afternoon paddock pass. Pillion tickets must be purchased with a full ride-in ticket.
