A Column by Attack Kawasaki's Ben Attard
“Fontana started out well for me on the 600, being third fastest in two of the practice sessions. I really wanted to step up for Kawasaki with Rog being out injured, and another fourth wasn’t the result I wanted or needed....” |

Attardtude!
A Column by Attack Kawasaki's Ben Attard: #2
Well, I’m back for round 2. A fair bit has happened since my debut column, even though I’ve barely thrown a leg over my Attack Kawis. Just after the first column came out, I had a couple of funny e-mails and phone calls asking if I was going to hang up the leathers and focus on writing. Definitely not going down that track, my friends.... I plan on racing in the USA for as long as I can, hopefully outdoing Duhamel.... |

Preview: 2006 World Superbike Series
At the end of last season, the World Superbike paddock was full of smoking craters caused by the lightning bolt that was Troy Corser. The Australian won eight races out of the 23 that were run, and he was on the podium a staggering 18 times on his way to his second World Superbike title. Fellow Aussie Chris Vermeulen put in an amazing string of wins at the end of the season to challenge for the championship, but by then Corser had a big enough points lead that he could ride conservatively and still win the #1 plate.... |

Slideshow: Hopper Flies
After attending Saturday's second round of the Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Series in Phoenix, Suzuki MotoGP rider John Hopkins had a crazy adventure. On Sunday, he headed south of town to take a ride with Red Bull athlete Kirby Chambliss, who is the top aerobatic flyer in the country and one of the top in the world. Accompanying Kirby were Travis Pastrana and supercross floor announcer Erin Bates. Here are some photos by shooter Joe Bonnello. (No word on whether or not Hopper kept his lunch down.) ... |

Attardtude!
A column by Attack Kawasaki's Ben Attard
Although Australian Ben Attard netted five podium finishes last year, many fans still don’t know much about him, and that—considering his funny, rude, and slightly twisted nature—is something of a shame. It’s also one of the reasons we asked Ben to take a crack at the literary life, though we admit we weren’t holding our breaths awaiting that first submission. (Asking a racer to slow down and type is far from a sure thing.) Much to our surprise, Ben’s first installment showed up less than two weeks later, and he’d even aptly named his own column: “Attardtude.” .... |
